Operating Principle:
Airotreat Standard Desiccant Dehumidifiers operate using advanced adsorbent-based technology to extract moisture from the air through a continuous adsorption and regeneration process. The core of the system is a desiccant rotor made from a high-temperature-resistant substrate infused with a non-migrating, low-temperature regenerating desiccant.
Humid air enters the process airflow section, where the desiccant rotor adsorbs (instead of absorbs) moisture from the air.
The rotor then moves into the reactivation zone, where heated air — supplied by electric heaters or optional external heat sources — releases the moisture from the desiccant.
As the rotor continues rotating, it maintains a constant cycle of moisture adsorption and regeneration, delivering consistent, low-humidity output air.
